General Warranty Statement

All products under this warranty are subject to the following warranty statement; any deviations and/or exceptions for a particular product will be documented in the section describing the warranty for that particular product. The warranties described in this document cover failure of the ICONIC VINTAGE products listed herein that are the result of defects in ICONIC VINTAGE’s materials and/or workmanship, under normal use and service only. The ICONIC VINTAGE warranty is not applicable to failures caused by improper use or installation, abuse, neglect, alteration by the owner, use of harsh chemicals applied to the product, or improper size or strength of product selection by the customer.

Owner’s Responsibilities

All ICONIC VINTAGE dog collars, leashes, and harnesses are intended for non-commercial, non-working dog wear by the dog and/or owner and are further designed to provide years of worry-free wear (providing owner uses suitable leather cleaning & conditioning products).

  1. It is the owner’s responsibility to select the ICONIC VINTAGE dog collar, leash, or harness appropriate for use by said dog/owner in a typical fashion taking into account the dog’s size,
    weight and strength.
  2. Before the expiration of the warranty, the owner must give notice to ICONIC VINTAGE of failures, if any, considered to be warrantable and deliver the defective product to ICONIC VINTAGE. Owner is responsible for all transportation and incidental costs associated with the return delivery of the defective product. Owner is responsible for all costs and losses resulting from a warrantable failure.
  3. ICONIC VINTAGE shall not be responsible for any consequential, incidental, punitive, special, or indirect damages whatsoever however caused, on any theory of liability.

Warranty Limitations

THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE THE SOLE WARRANTIES MADE BY ICONIC VINTAGE IN REGARD TO ICONIC VINTAGE PRODUCTS. ICONIC VINTAGE MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OR OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ICONIC VINTAGE’s “EMPLOYEES OR REPRESENTATIVES” ORAL OR WRITTEN STATEMENTS DO NOT CONSTITUTE WARRANTIES, SHALL NOT BE RELIED UPON BY CUSTOMER AND ARE NOT PART OF THE WARRANTY STATED HEREIN.

Items not covered under this warranty, include but are not limited to:

  1. Improper selection of dog collar, leash, or harness based on dog size, weight, or strength.
  2. Improper selection of dog collar, leash, or harness based on colour or size/length of the product.
  3. Improper storage of dog collar, leash, or harness in a moist, wet, or corrosive environment.
  4. Sole reliance upon dog collar, leash, or harness to provide all safety considerations typical with the maintenance, care, custody, or control of a dog.
  5. Excessive wear caused by the use of external devices such as chains.
  6. Improper cleaning, exposure to harsh chemicals, or over-exposure to sunlight.
  7. Improper attachment of dog collar to dog, or dog leash to dog collar or dog harness.
  8. Colour fading or degradation.

Design Improvement

ICONIC VINTAGE may make changes or design improvements without incorporating those changes in products previously sold. ICONIC VINTAGE warranties do not cover the incorporation of these design improvements. Products no longer available or discontinued will, for warranty replacement purposes, be replaced with either the same Product with improved design or the Product which at the time most reasonably replaces the original Product purchased.

Accessories

Accessories supplied, but not manufactured by ICONIC VINTAGE shall be covered by the OEM manufacturer’s warranty only and are not subject to this warranty.

Product Supplied By Policy

Any Product supplied by ICONIC VINTAGE at no charge (e.g. paid for by warranty or policy) assumes the identity (including the remainder of the warranty) of the Product it replaces. If the failed Product is no longer under warranty, then the new replacement Product will not have coverage.

Determination of Warranty

ICONIC VINTAGE reserves the right to examine any failed Product to determine validity of warranty claim. If no fault is found, the claim will be denied.

ICONIC VINTAGE’s Dog Collars, Leashes, and Harnesses Warranty

Limited Warranty

ICONIC VINTAGE warrants its dog collars, dog leashes, and dog harnesses to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a maximum period of up to twelve (12) months from the date of purchase from ICONIC VINTAGE or an authorized retailer. ICONIC VINTAGE’s responsibility is limited to the repair or replacement of a Product which has been determined by ICONIC VINTAGE, in its sole discretion, to be defective and for which a warranty claim has been submitted prior to expiration of the Warranty Period, subject to the terms and conditions set forth below.

Limitations

The warranty set forth above is subject to the conditions and limitations set forth in the General Warranty Statement above and the Warranty Claims Procedure below. The express warranty set forth herein is intended for the benefit of the original purchaser of the Product and may not be assigned or otherwise transferred. If any part of this warranty is determined to be void or illegal, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.

Warranty Claim Procedure

Only customers of ICONIC VINTAGE may file a claim direct.

  1. Contact ICONIC VINTAGE for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) form and a claim tag.
  2. Complete all sections of the Warranty Claim Form and provide the following information:
    1. ICONIC VINTAGE product number including UPC code.
    2. Date of purchase.
    3. Date of failure.
    4. Name, address, telephone number, and email address (if available) of the owner.
    5. Full description of the problem/findings.

Warranty Product Policy

  1. Upon receipt of the claims documentation, ICONIC VINTAGE shall within three (3) working days determine if the failed Product needs to be returned to ICONIC VINTAGE. ICONIC VINTAGE reserves the right to inspect the Product within three (3) months at their location. ICONIC VINTAGE may ask for a digital photograph of the failed product to be emailed to ICONIC VINTAGE upon receipt of the claims documents. If ICONIC VINTAGE does ask for the part to be returned, ICONIC VINTAGE shall indicate the transportation method for return and pay for the costs associated with the return.
  2. Credit for warrantable Products will be issued within three (3) weeks of ICONIC VINTAGE receiving the claims documents.
  3. All claims documents must be sent to ICONIC VINTAGE not later than thirty (30) days after receipt of the failed Product from the customer. Claims submitted after thirty (30) days will be denied.
  4. Requested Products to be returned to ICONIC VINTAGE may be subject to inspections, testing, and failure analysis. If it is determined that a Product exhibits no failure, then the warranty claim will be rejected.
